How Does A Primer Bulb Work?
Primer bulbs are usually found at lawnmowers wherein it is closely located at the fuel tank or air filter. For you to be able to have a good start with a primer bulb is you’ll need to press first the small piece of device that is circular in shape, this is to provide the fuel to start up. If you see it on motor boards, the primer bulb falls in between the tank and the engine. This makes a whole way for one lawnmower to get rolling and working on the field.
Here are more of ways as to how a primer bulb works.
1. it creates as vacuum- the purpose is to make sure that the fuel is pumped up back into the reservoir. As soon as the fuel reaches the upper chamber, this is then pulled up through the filters and down to the fuel chamber.
2. Small engines- there is also a big difference when it comes to smaller engines, keeping in mind that this only involves in pulling off the starter rope compared to an electrical starter up.
As this is how it works, there is an exposure of its materials and elements that are present in the engine. This greatly affects the rubber that is found in the primer bulb as this will eventually crack and wears apart. So, then if the bulb happens to develop some leak, it becomes very crucial as the fuel is then replaced as this causes the engine to run in a stall or rough manner. If the fuel happens to have a combination of alcohol this will begin to rise up and this is said to be a deterioration because it can cause a great damage if not maintained right away. In order to reduce this type of damage and deterioration is to mainly use a fresh fuel and adding a fuel stabilizer would be great too.
